Key Challenges
Challenges and limitation in traditional livestock watering
- Ponds and lakes are often in the wrong locations for convenient livestock hydration, may not be sufficiently clean, or may be prone to icing up in winter.
- Portable tanks usually must be filled daily and can be easily knocked over or damaged by bulls or other large animals pressing, pushing, or rubbing on them
- Waterers that rely on electric heaters to deter ice may be infeasible in locations far from the nearest electrical source.
Livestock watering system
Consist of livestock watering system
- Monitoring devices: Light Sensor & Illumination sensor, infrared sensor, water level sensor, air temperature & humidity sensor, TDS water quality sensor, Camera (Optional)
- Execution Devices: water pump, heater, drain valve, UV sterilizer, water purifier, tank water level controller. video transmitter
- Power supply system: grid power supply or Off-grid solar panel kit optional.
- MCU with 4G backhaul.
How It Works
- The system turns on automatically and standby when the light sensor detects the light during the day. if failed to detect the light at night, it will turn off the system to save power.
- The water level sensor will start work and detect the water level when a livestock is detected by the IR sensor. If the water level drops to the lower water level, the water pump will automatically start and inject water into the water tank, when the water reaches the upper water level, the water pump automatically shuts down to stop water injection.
- When pumping water, if the outside temperature is too low, it will trigger the heater to warm up the water for livestock and prevent freezing.
- When detected that the livestock have left for a certain period of time, the drain valve will be triggered to discharge the remaining water in tank.
- When the detected TDS exceeds the standard, the ultraviolet sterilizer and water quality processor are activated to purify the water.
- Camera can be used to monitor the environment and count the number of livestock drinking water in the field.
- Supports 4G backhaul and uplinks the data to the platform. Easy to deploy and maintain. allow farmers to monitor the livestock water supply in real-time and take rapid measures if there is anything abnormal.
Key Features and Benefits
Providing fresh water anytime, anywhere
Reliable fresh water supply to your valuable livestock all year round, durable design to withstand even the harshest conditions, impact resistant in temperatures as low as -40˚F
Reduces waste
Effective management of your water resource, reduce evaporation in summer and freezing in winter. Replenishes water often to discourage algae growth and mosquito breeding
Health water, health livestock
Water is one of the most critical elements to an animal and it's overall health. Animals that drink clean, contaminant-free water are generally less prone to illness and disease, gain more weight and produce more milk.
Easy maintenance
Supports 24/7 real-time monitoring, wireless remote control, and abnormal state alarm. Which is easy maintenance and labor- free.
